Spetchley and District Gardeners' Society

The Spetchley & District Gardeners’ Society was originally established by Mr Robert George Berkeley (‘the Squire’) to provide a meeting place for both estate workers and local residents to enjoy a shared interest in all aspects of plants, gardening and gardens. Today, over fifty years on and with a membership approaching sixty, the Society continues to flourish and counts amongst its members Miss Juliet Berkeley.

The Society's regular meetings with speakers are held at Spetchley Park Gardens in the newly converted Heritage Learning and Interpretation Centre. The popular annual Spring Bulb Show and Summer Flower and Produce Show are also hosted within the Gardens and are open to visitors. Garden visits and a Christmas party round off the year’s calendar.

Full membership costs £7.50 a year and provides free entry to the indoor meetings and talks.
