August at the Gardens
Like all gardeners, we are so grateful that the weather has turned cooler for a period. Our gardening team have been able to return to their usual duties (from watering around the clock) and our plants are recovering from the blistering summer.
The Gardens have a varied and busy summer of activities, the next event is our Mini-Beast Explorer on Wednesday 15 August. Visit our 'What's On' page for further details and to purchase advance tickets for your little adventurers.
This weekend (17-19 August) our Artist in Residence, Clare Beak, will be in the Learning Centre providing visitors with the opportunity to admire and purchase her works of art from 11am-4pm. Make sure to visit and say hello.
We look forward to welcoming you to our beautiful Gardens soon.
Spetchley Park Gardens
Spetchley has been home to the Berkeley family for over 400 years and successive generations have lovingly collected rare plants, shrubs and trees from around the world, creating a wondrous garden of many rooms and vistas that appeal to all ages and tastes.
Surrounded by ancient parkland, deer park and lakes, this historic garden is set in the wonderful Worcestershire countryside with far reaching views to the Malvern Hills.
It is a garden that provides the ideal day out, allowing you and your children the dream escape from the bustle of everyday life. Our proximity to Worcester, the Malverns, and the Cotswolds also makes us the ideal attraction for groups.
There is also a wonderful tea room, where you can buy a light lunch or full, traditional afternoon tea. We hope you enjoy your visit to Spetchley and thank you for taking time to look at our website.
